Representing Teachers, School Leaders & TAFE

A message from Cresta Richardson, QTU President

WE ARE FIGHTING FOR YOU.

  • Supporting teachers and school leaders in local, regional, state and federal campaigns.

  • Resisting the current attempts by the department to curtail the rights of principals to suspend and exclude students when warranted.

  • Addressing complex school and TAFE issues with government.

  • Ensuring that the allocative model review addresses core teacher and school leader issues.

  • Representing members on a range of professional bodies.

  • Advocating for support and programs to manage behaviour in schools.

Our QTU 2023 Presidential Team is working to secure better wages and conditions for teachers, school leaders and TAFE.
